Analysis of common causes

1. Impurities are blocked
Solid particles, welding slag, or rust in the medium may clog the orifice or spool, causing stalling.
The solution:
Clean the inside of the valve to remove impurities. Install a pipe filter in front of the valve to prevent impurities from entering.

2. Mechanical components are faulty
Stem bent, spool fit with seat too tight or wear. Actuator spring is broken, gear is worn or limit parts are off.
Solution: Inspect and replace damaged stem, spool, or actuator parts.
Regular lubrication of the transmission mechanism to reduce friction. 3. Temperature and material issues

3. Low temperature causes stem deformation or seal hardening.
The linear expansion coefficient of different materials is different (such as stainless steel valve stem and brass valve sleeve).
Solution: Use low-temperature resistant materials or improve insulation measures. Increase the throttle gap or use sleeve valve and other structures.

4. Poor lubrication
Insufficient lubricant or aging will increase friction resistance.
Solution: Replace the grease regularly and choose lubricants with strong low temperature adaptability.

5. Installation or design defects
Valves and pipelines are improperly configured, resulting in prestress.
Dark rod structure or fine thread is easy to bite under temperature change.
Solution: Optimize the installation position to avoid insufficient pipeline cold compensation. Switch to open rod construction or adjust thread type.

Prevention and maintenance
It is recommended to check the valve stem and spool wear every quarter and clean the valve cavity dirt.
Test the sensitivity of the actuator and replace the aging spring in time.
Avoid violent operation when opening and closing valves, especially in low temperature environments.
The valve that has not been used for a long time is regularly moved 10°~15° to prevent rust.
Selection and design optimization Select the valve body and sealing materials (such as corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials) according to the characteristics of the medium.
For easy plugging medium, the sleeve valve or Angle valve structure is preferred.

Third, emergency treatment methods If the valve suddenly stuck, you can try the following steps: Tap the valve body: tap the bottom of the valve body with a small hammer to loosen the blocking parts.
External flushing: Gas or steam is injected through the sewage outlet to flush the blockage.
Manual operation: Switch to manual mode for slow operation to avoid forced twisting.
If the above methods are ineffective, contact a professional to disassemble and repair.
